Mr. Thaksin Shinawatra last appeared when he attended the funeral of Gen. Suchinda Kraprayoon, former Prime Minister, at Wat Sommanas Ratchaworawihan. After that, he disappeared, especially after the “leaked clip” of the conversation was released from Mr. Hun Sen’s side on June 18.  

From the case of the clip that caused a serious shake in the legitimacy of the position of Prime Minister of Ms. Paethongtarn Shinawatra, but Mr. Thaksin refused to come out to speak or hear any interviews to give opinions, which is strange, even though Mr. Hun Sen's meaning, in addition to intending to destroy Thailand and destroy the Prime Minister, also targets Mr. Thaksin.   

Although in the past, it has not been directly stated, but releasing a clip like this, including the previous time when he spoke of "demanding gratitude" to Mr. Jatuporn Prompan, a former leader of the Red Shirts, who claimed that he had helped and raised him during a time when there were problems in Thailand.   

However, many people interpreted Mr. Hun Sen's words as his true intention to hit or send a message to Mr. Thaksin Shinawatra directly. Because a few days ago, Mr. Hun Sen released a picture of Ms. Paethongtarn and her husband going to see the room of Mr. Thaksin and Ms. Yingluck Shinawatra, which is Mr. Hun Sen's house in Phnom Penh, where the two former Prime Ministers, the siblings, had previously slept to escape danger.   

For those who are wondering And it is strange why Mr. Thaksin Shinawatra has kept quiet, not speaking out or giving an opinion to help his daughter, or at least coming out to express an opinion to help support the government, but has disappeared.   

“What is very surprising is that Thaksin Shinawatra, the father of Prime Minister Ung Ing, has kept quiet unusually, not showing his face to society to help restore the faith of his daughter, the Prime Minister. There are only other people who say that Thaksin said this and that, but Thaksin does not dare to appear in a heated situation, attacking the Prime Minister who is about to collapse. Thaksin, where are you? What are you thinking?” Mr. Jatuporn Promphan, a lecturer at the People's Fusion Group, observed.  

At the same time, he is confident that in the rally on June 28, the people, former generals, and high-ranking officials will join the rally to show the power of the land to protect sovereignty in a dark and cloudy manner, and fill the Victory Monument area because, based on the feedback from the provinces, they will gradually join.  

Mr. Jatuporn said that the interesting thing is that the public has donated a lot of money to organize the show of power. In just a little over a day, there has been more than 10 million baht in donations and it is understood that the amount will increase even more. The donation account will be closed at midnight on June 28. However, this donation will be used to pay for the rally and any remaining will be given to the 2nd Army.   

“If on June 28, the public comes in a state of darkness, it will be the answer to whether or not to resign. It will be the answer to whether or not to withdraw. If the court orders the prime minister to stop performing his duties, we will have to wait for the court’s decision with trepidation. And the MPs of the coalition parties will also have to wait for the case of violating Section 144,” he said.   

Mr. Pantep Puapongphan, Dean of the Institute of Integrative Medicine and Anti-Aging Medicine, Rangsit University, posted an update on the amount of donations received into the Yam Fao Pandin Foundation’s account at Kasikorn Bank, current account number 008-109529-9, so that the foundation can give the money to them. The “Power of the Land Protecting Sovereignty” group will organize a public gathering to provide knowledge and show patriotism to protect Thai sovereignty on June 28th.   

They stated that “2 days, 17 million baht” from the people came to support the gathering and the remaining income will be used to support the 2nd Army Area.   

 Two days later, at 10.47 am, since this morning, 2,848 money transfers totaling 17,144,742.70 baht were made to the Yam Fao Pandin Foundation account at Kasikorn Bank, current account number 008-109529-9, so that the foundation can donate the money to the “Phalang Pandin Protecting Sovereignty Group”, which will organize a public gathering to provide knowledge and show patriotism to protect Thai sovereignty on June 28, 2025.   

If we consider the amount of donations that have flowed in, it reflects that the gathering on June 28 will have a large number of people from all walks of life joining, or at least sending encouragement in various forms.   

When it comes to the observation that Mr. Thaksin Shinawatra is quietly hiding his sword, not showing up or expressing any opinions since Mr. Hun Sen released a clip of his conversation with Ms. Paethongtarn, which has had a severe negative impact on the government led by his daughter. However, many people believe that the reason for not coming out is Part of it may be because it will further provoke Mr. Hun Sen to become even angrier and risk some “secrets being exposed” because if we look back over the past several years, both Mr. Hun Sen and Mr. Thaksin have been very close to each other, to the point of being “on hold” between the two families.   

Therefore, it is believed that Mr. Hun Sen must be holding many secrets of Mr. Thaksin, which may be the reason that Mr. Thaksin has to hide quietly, to the point of “not daring to breathe” or not? This type of behavior is considered unusual for him, especially during a time when his daughter is experiencing a severe political storm. At   

the same time, for him, Mr. Thaksin, is also facing an important case that he has to worry about whether he will really go to prison or not. From the case where the Constitutional Court is investigating the truth about the imprisonment according to the verdict or not, which is related to the “14th floor” which is considered to be getting tighter and tighter, including the case of the offense under Section 112 which is coming up in July. Are these things that make him so nervous that he has to hide quietly?
